Cost: $10 plus any organic material you have available- leaves, grass clippings, food scraps, etc. This will be a potluck garden.

What we are going to do- You will learn how to build a vegetable garden on top of existing soil, grass or weeds using a simple technique referred to as "no dig" gardening. This is done by adding layers of organic material which decomposes and becomes soil very similar to what occurs in nature. This is a "hands on" workshop, working with others to build a 4x12 ft garden bed. So come dressed in old clothes prepared to get a little dirty.
