Hello Calendar editors,

Please include in your next calendar of events.

Here's an email version of the flyer for the annual Youth Activism
Gathering.

If you are a young person, we hope you will come and bring friends. If you
are an older person, we hope you will pass this along to those in their
teens and early 20's who might want to come.

Apologies if you receive this more than once.

welcome to come, 'cause we want everyone to come who wants to.

What is the Youth Activism Gathering?

The YAG is an annual event in which youth from all over the state (and
sometimes fromother parts of the country as well) converge to share ideas,
explore issues and methods to resolve them, and spread knowledge. It's also
a lot of fun!! The YAG is a great way to meet and connect with youth from
many different backgrounds and areas and form new connections.

Who is the Youth Activism Gathering for?

We welcome people of all ages. People at previous gatherings have been
mostly people in their teens, with others in their twenties and a few olders
attending too.

The gathering is on a weekend in the hopes that more people who are busy
during the week can make it.

Diversity of opinions and backgrounds is welcome! Come with an open mind to
share ideas and meet great people.

The Gathering is a place to learn and teach about activism and organizing!
And have fun!

This is an open, participatory gathering--we¹d love to have you lead a
workshop.
