Hi All ... apologies if you receive this information more than once.....
The Down East Family YMCA will host a Volunteer Resource Fair on
Saturday, October 17^th from 10:00 am -- 3:00 pm. The event is designed
to match potential volunteers with local nonprofits and social service
agencies. Dozens of local organizations will be on-hand seeking
volunteers for upcoming projects and ongoing efforts. Those interested
in getting involved can sign up to become a volunteer during the event.
The Fair provides an opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of
causes including care for the elderly, support for individuals with
disabilities, volunteering with children, working with animals, the
arts, and more. The event is supported by the Ellsworth School
Department which requires high school to complete service hours. Door
prizes will be raffled off and refreshments will be served. Contact Matt
Montgomery at mmontgomery at midmaine.com <mailto:mmontgomery at midmaine.com>
or at 667-3086 for more information and to reserve a table at the event.
Cheers, Candy
