[HCCN] Peace Troubadour Cecilia St. King - Two Concerts this weekend

Brooksville; October 11, Ellsworth


PEACE TROUBADOUR, CECILIA ST. KING TO PERFORM

Cecilia St. King, an award winning Peace Troubadour, will perform two  
concerts in the area, October 10 at Valley of the Stars in  
Brooksville and October 11 at the Ellsworth Universalist Church. Both  
concerts are at 7:00 PM.

She has performed nationally and throughout Japan, New Zealand and  
Europe.  Her inspirational songs and heartfelt melodies weave ageless  
wisdom with her own spiritual experiences.  She is a survivor of the  
falling towers of the World Trade Center and tells of that experience  
as well as discovering she had throat cancer six months later.

She was recently awarded as an Ambassador of Peace for her  
humanitarian work through the Universal Peace Federation. She has  
performed her song “Water Not Weapons” with Pete Seeger—a slogan  
of his World Water Rescue Foundation.  Her world anthem, “Peace on  
Earth” won a placement in a compilation CD produced by NY Symphony  
conductor, David Eaton.  Her most recent CD, “Your Word is Magic”  
has just been released.
