The Hancock County Democratic Committee will host a showing of the
Frontline program "Sick Around the World" at their Thursday, Sept. 17
meeting. The program features the work of correspondent T. R. Reid,
author of "The Healing of America."

With the U.S. health care system needing urgent care, this "Frontline"
program looks to other leading capitalist democracies to see how their
health care systems operate and whether those systems might be a model
for much-needed reform at home. Washington Post Correspondent T.R.
Reid (author of The Healing of America) examines systems in the U.K.,
Japan, Switzerland, Germany and Taiwan.

The meeting begins at 7 pm at Ellsworth City Hall. The program will
follow the business meeting at about 8 pm. The meeting is open and the
public is invited to attend. For more information visit www.hancockdems.org
