[HCCN] PEACE ON EARTH

[Judith Robbins]

Island Peace & Justice and Peninsula Peace & Justice have bedecked  
the roadways in their respective communities with a message of PEACE.
The hand-painted canvas banners (30 in Deer Isle and 30 in Blue Hill)  
are a welcome sight, according to the comments offered last year at  
this time.  The message is at once seasonal and timeless: peace for  
all the beings of the earth and a beautiful and cared-for earth in  
which to dwell and thrive in peace.






Groups in other towns are encouraged to take up this project. We have  
the stencils, tools and materials lists, and instructions.
