Dave Vandiver is involved with the United Methodist Committee on  
Relief project for Haiti.
People are asked to make up Health Kits, which are being picked up  
this weekend for delivery.

If you want to participate, go out and buy the following (everything  
MUST be NEW):

1 hand towel (no larger than 17x27 no kitchen towels)
1 washcloth
1 comb (large and sturdy)
1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards, no toenail  
clippers)
1 bath-size bar of soap (3 oz. or more)
1 toothbrush (single only, in wrapper, no child-size)
6 adhesive bandages (sterile, plastic strip)
Include $1 to purchase toothpaste (the toothpaste is being purchased  
in bulk for freshness)

Pack it all in a one-gallon ziploc bag
Add another dollar for shipping costs (so $2 total)

The kits will be accepted up until Febr. 1st.


Dave will deliver to the shippers.
