I'm frustratingly out of state this week and can't attend this event. 
Let me just say that there is little that would draw me as far as Deer 
Isle of an evening, but this is definitely such an event.

Griffin is a steadfast, methodical former theologian, author of many 
books on theology, and in the last 6 years on 9/11.  He has shown a 
remarkable talent for coalescing into a coherent narrative the huge 
number of observations that have come to light in the last 9 years that 
indicate the impossibility of the 9/11 story that underlies most of our 
national and international misadventures.  If you can go, you won't 
regret it.

PS: I taught an Acadia Senior College Course in 9/11 Evidence, and have 
put three of Griffin's books and a DVD of one of his talks in the 
Southwest Harbor Library.  They and many others are available via 
interlibrary loan.

Is the War in Afghanistan Justified by 9/11?

About the lecture David Ray Griffin says: "Most Americans have
believed that the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan was morally justified as
a response to the 9/11 attacks, and many believe it is still justified
as a necessary means to prevent another attack originating from that
region. My lecture will present evidence showing that both of these
beliefs are untrue."

For those unfamiliar with Dr. Griffin, he is the author of nine books
on 9/11. His most recent book is The Mysterious Collapse of World
Trade Center 7: Why the Final Official Report About 9/11 Is
Unscientific and False. He has meticulously researched the various
dimensions of the official account of 9/11, finding them all devoid of
credibility. Due to the carefulness and sweep of his writings, he is
widely considered the world’s leading critic of the official story
about 9/11.
