  Hi All -- happy leaf peeping!

The monthly calendar will soon be updated on our website at 
www.downeasthealth.org.  You'll find education and support opportunities 
offered through Downeast Health on the first page.   Other training 
opportunities are listed by date, followed by recurring weekly, 
bi-weekly, monthly  playgroups, support & online educational 
resources.   A 12-page pdf printable copy may be downloaded from the 
website or requested via email.

This month includes a page of safety suggestions for a happy 
Halloween.   See some listings below to get you started & as always, 
please do not hesitate to ask questions or seek additional information.

*Mommy and ME, Sullivan: Free Weekly Group begins September 28^th *

9.28.10 *_Sullivan_* 10:00am-11:30am (6 weeks 9.28.10-11.02.10): Hancock 
County Children's Council presents "Mommy and ME" weekly group for Moms 
and their babies (newborn to one year) at the Sullivan Town Office, US 
Route 1, Sullivan. Facilitated by Jennifer Broughton, RN, Downeast 
Health Services Maternal & Child Health program, come meet other mothers 
(first-time or experienced) and their babies for 6 weeks of weekly fun 
and tips to develop healthy strong bonds between you and your new baby.

presents a FREE 8 week series "The Incredible Years -- Toddlers" for 
their parents / caregivers at Downeast Health Services, 52 Christian

maximum 10 families. Pre-registration and some reading required. The 
Incredible Years programs will show some of the ways that parents can 
nurture, teach and respond to their toddlers in sensitive ways that
