> Dud Hendrick, Bruce Gagnon, and Russell Wray will speak on their recent visit to Jeju Island and Okinawa at Emlen Hall on February 4, 2016. All three are familiar to Blue Hill. Dud is from Deer Isle and a member of Veterans for Peace; Bruce Gagnon, also of Veterans for Peace, represents Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space, based in Brunswick; Russell, a sculptor, is from Hancock and has an advocacy organization for protecting whales and other marine wildlife from Navy sonar. We will co-sponsor this program with Island Peace and Justice.

> Peter ordered Elemental as a DVD; he may solicit co-sponsorship from other local groups for screening in the next few months. We plan to arrange a screening at Blue Hill Public Library of the new documentary on the Penobscot River and Penobscot Nation, with Meredith deFrancesco and possibly another speaker.
> We hope to soon host Carolyn Coe talking and showing images of her time in Kabul, Afghanistan, the past couple months. We are interested in showing a new movie on the Black Panthers, another new movie on Stonewall, and the Naomi Klein film on global warming and the planetary crisis.
>
> Some of the Peace on Earth banners that PPJ produced a few years ago will be used in a Saturday January 9 noon rally on the bridge downtown in Blue Hill in support of 350.org <http://350.org/> international efforts to halt climate damage.
