>> For a few years now I have been volunteering with The Mabel Wadsworth Women's Health Center in Bangor. The clinic is one of only 14 non-federally funded independent full spectrum women's health centers in the country.

>>
>> The Center was founded 30 years ago and provides all health care and reproductive health services for women including abortion care. The folks there, their work and the Board are exceptional, dedicated, incredibly hard working and knowledgeable people. They have helped with reproductive health education even to our high school here on the Island and make available free condoms all over the state. I myself have delivered thousands to schools and private and public heath centers all over the Peninsula.
>>
>> I have learned that very few folks on the Island are familiar with the existence of the Center. So, I will host an informational house party he at my home on Thursday July 14th from 5 to 7 pm. I want to include as many like-minded folks as possible to learn about their work. It will not be a place for a debate of any type - thus I want to make sure that people support the work in theory before extending the formal invitation. And, I am hoping for plenty of supportive men to participate as well!
>>
>> I would like to include you in the save the date and invitation list - all will be by email to help save funds - and lots of food and drink will be served for everyone's enjoyment while you learn of the Center's work.
>>
>> Thanks, Ruth
