informational meeting on <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">Instant Runoff
Voting</b> on Saturday, <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">February 5, at 2
pm</b>, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 121 Bucksport Road,
Ellsworth.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Terry Bouricius,
a senior policy analyst for FairVote and expert on IRV, is the featured
speaker.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Terry is a former
five-term member of the Vermont House of Representatives and is an active
member of the League of Women Voters.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The League of Women Voters
in Maine is studying whether or not to endorse Instant Runoff Voting as an
alternative voting system in state and local elections. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The public is cordially invited to
