[Local-Maine-Schools] Mount Desert Board of Selectmen

I just came from a Mt. Desert Board of Selectmen meeting. Laurel  
Robbins led a discussion with the Selectmen about the consolidation  
debate in Augusta. They voted unanimously to sign and support Union  
98's Position in Support of Our Schools. They also indicated an  
intention to compose and adopt an additional document that focuses on  
their objections to the loss of local control inherent in the  
consolidation proposals. It was a good discussion.
