[Local-Maine-Schools] Local-Maine-Schools

So far as I'm aware, the local business community has been sitting on the
sidelines. I don't know whether anyone has approached the Lab (or COA, or
MDIBL, or anyone in the boat-building community). Certainly worth a try,
although asking them to issue a threat would be counter-productive, in my
view.

Has anyone contacted local businesses such as Jackson Lab that may be
benefitting from high quality local schools, benefitting either directly or
indirectly? Maybe a threat from them to withdraw hiring plans would get the
attention of politicians.
