[Local-Maine-Schools] island schools

I am wondering if anyone has information relating to the status of the outer island schools in all this consolidation planning?  I have seen mention of a possible exemption, but no information on what that actually means.  Frenchboro and the Cranberry Islands are part of Union 98, but if we are made exempt, we would have to come up with a way to put in place all those services the union provides- scary thought!

Any information would be appreciated,
