[Local-Maine-Schools] New address for this list -- change your addressbook

Due to overload problems with the server on which the
Local-Maine-Schools has resided since its inception, slowing down the
mail at a time when things are getting hot and heavy in Augusta, we have
moved the list to a new server -- MAINETALK.ORG.

For the time being, if you send mail to the old address, it will be
forwarded to the new list for posting to the members, and go into the
new list's archives.  But it would be a good idea to change the list's
entry in your addressbook (if you made one) to

              local-maine-schools at mainetalk.org

And note that if you try to log into the old list's web interface to
change settings or unsubscribe, it won't have any effect on your actual
subscription.  You will need to use the addresses below.

(If you've used your password on the settings page for the old list, it
will work on this new page as well.)

Other than that, I think everything should be "transparent to the user",
as we IT people are fond of saying :-).  I'm sorry for having to unload
this additional bit of bureaucratic baggage on you, but I believe it
will serve us well in the future.  Thanks for your patience.
