     A thank you to the all the people in Union 98 and on MDI for all the work they have done in the fight against school governance consolidation. Many of you have lived with this issue daily and have spent much of the last 6 months working on this issue. 

    The mdischools.net website and listserve has been a great resource and has tied many people in schools all over Maine together. It has been an excellent resource and has taken a great deal of time everyday. It would be nice to see it continue somehow to share ideas and try to figure out what all these changes will mean. Another use perhaps is as a system of communications between schools and as a way to share information in this consolidation process we all must embark on that is outside the DOE sphere of influence and is an open sharing of ideas.
