It is my understanding that the full appropriation committee has voted that school unions will not be allowed under the committee's position.

Also I understand that Martha Freeman, State Planning Office director said to the Taxation committee that if a SAU is going over the percent allowed by EPS it would have to have a 2/3 vote of the school board and then a 2/3 referendum vote of the voters.

We have a battle on our hands.
