  Hi all,


  Last night I was in parent mode at the u92 consolidation informational meeting at the Hancock Grammar school.  Three legislators were in attendance.  All were sympathetic to the cause and spoke out against the Appropriations consolidation proposal.  It appears that Rep. Farrington's "Blended" plan is still in the mix.  The Legislators also spoke to the urgency of contacting the legislature concerning the Appropriations plan.  According to Representative Jim Shatz from Blue Hill, next Wednesday the legislative leadership will be making an announcement outlining which plan will be part of the budget.   The Rural Caucus will be holding a press conference on Thursday responding to whatever proposal comes out.  He went on to say that now is a crucial time to make ones voice heard.
