[Local-Maine-Schools] Last call for mailing petitions

Good afternoon everyone,

Saturday morning NLT 10 AM by phone (367-2738) or by e-mail is the last chance I shall have the opportunity to mail petitions to anyone for collection of signatures on Tueday.

We have send out a fair number of petitions.  Dick Dyer is doing a great
job of finding collectors for a lot of communities in southern Maine where we have not previously collected signatures.

For all of you who are collecting signatures on Tuesday, please e-mail me Tuesday evening with the number of signatures you collected that day. Please take them to the registrar of voters for verification and make sure that you sign the petition in the presence of a notary and have her or him sign and date the petition.  The  send the petitions to me at PO Box 52, Stonington, Me. 04681.  Our goal is to gather 18000 signatures on Tuesday so that we shall have over 60000 signatures.  I am going to be collecting signatures at Bangor.
