This, I think, further substantiates the previous graph in that it
appears to confirm that there is a correlation between per-pupil
school spending and not only municipal valuation but also local
per-capita income.
This is more pronounced in the smaller towns and remote islands where,
apparently, local citizens, if they have the ability, will fund their
schools above the mean in order to ensure that their own students have
the same educational opportunities as those in the denser areas of the
state.
