Good evening everyone,

The e-mail is to request all of the hard working individuals who are still collecting signatures to please send them to me, Skip Greenlaw, PO Box 52, Stonington, Me. 04681, no later than Monday October 6 so that I shall recieve them no later than Wednesday, the 8th.

Please make certain that your signature has been notarized and that the notary fills in all the required information, and finally that the town or city clerk validates the signatures. It is very important that this is done correctly because there will not be any time to return the petitions for corrections.

Lauren, Judy and I are going to try to finalize everything on the 9th; so we need any outstanding petitions so we can count them and include them in the filing. The obvious question is how many signatures do we have, and I honestly do not know. I do know is that we have more than the 55087 needed to file the petition. We are waiting on Dick Dyer to get about 1700 more signatures certified. We shall have in excess of 60000 signatures.

If you have not heard, we are planning to file the petition with the Secretary of State on Tuesday, October 14 at 10 AM in Augusta at the rear side of the Burton Cross State Office Building. Anyone and everyone who has worked on this effort or who is interested is invited to come.

As soon as we have a final count, I shall communicate that to you. Thank
you all for the incredible effort which you have all put forward. The easy part is done; now we must convince members of the legislature to repeal the law.

Gratefully,
Skip
