<DIV>Good Morning</DIV>
<DIV>There is a great deal of confusion concerning when LD 1932 will be going to
the Senate floor. Below is a message I sent to a gentleman yesterday
explaining this issue. What I said in the email is what the situation was
a 1:00pm yesterday.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I talked to the Committee clerk just minutes ago and he told me that
the Committee members have not signed the jackets of the two versions of LD 1932
because they have not seen the final draft of the language. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Before an LD can go to the floor of either the House or the Senate, it has
to be signed by the Committee members, printed, and placed upon the Legislative
calendar. Very likely the LD will not be sent to the Senate before the
first of next week and since the Legislature is not meeting until Tuesday,
January 29, the is the earliest day it will come up for action. You can
call legislative information at 287-1670 for more information.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>You still have more than enough time to contact your legislators and any
other you may know to let them know your preference on the
bill. Below are the numbers and the web address for the legislature.</DIV>

<DIV><STRONG>It would be very helpful if you would let me know who you have
talked with and what their position is on LD 1932 so I can keep a
record.</STRONG></DIV>
