this conference as we are getting the room for nothing and we will not be
serving lunch. We will have coffee and muffins available in the

at the cafeteria which is next to Shibles.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>

session, so parking should not be a problem. You will need to stop at
UMO's Public safety office to get a permit.</STRONG></FONT></DIV>

fifty people, so please let me know as soon as you can if you are

will be covering. It is our intention to have a participatory
gathering. We want to know what is going on in your areas so we can all
learn from each other.</STRONG></FONT></DIV>

happening in Augusta that will affect us.</STRONG></FONT></DIV>

<STRONG>2. Presentation and discussion on EPS
funding.</STRONG></FONT></DIV>

<STRONG>3. The status of the Repeal Effort.</STRONG></FONT></DIV>

<STRONG>4. RPCs: What is going on with the RPCs in various
areas. We will have reports from Northern Maine, Washington County,
Hancock County area, and Western Maine. We will have a panel discussion
followed by small group discussions. We would like to have you come with
what is happening in your area with such issues as:</STRONG></FONT></DIV>

<STRONG>Teachers' salaries, Central office costs, Central office staffing
changes, how you are dealing with special ed, transportation, and
facalities. Anything you find has been inportant to the RPCs in your
area.</STRONG></FONT></DIV>

noon to set up the agenda. So this is an informal presentation of the
agenda, but these are the areas we will cover. I am going to be in Augusta
tomorrow and Friday, so I wanted to get this out to you. I will do a
better job over the weekend and get it to you for Monday.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
