<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>At our steering committee meeting on Tuesday, Betsy
Saltonstall of Rockport suggested that we purchase bumper stickers and
distribute them all over the state. We all agreed.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Betsy obtained a quote from a local printer for
50,000 bumper stickers costing $6000. With a few phone calls, we have
already raised $800. So, I am writing you this morning to ask you to
make whatever contribution you can make to help us accomplish this goal.
This is one of the objectives of our "grassroots" campaign, which I shall
explain in more detail later today. The bumper stickers will be school bus
yellow and read "Vote YES on question 3 to repeal school
consolidation". If you have any suggestions for changes, please pass them
