"Creating and Sustaining Vibrant Local Economies in Maine" on March 22nd–Please come/register and spread the word

Please pass along to others in your group or area. Thanks.

Do you think a strong locally-based sector is crucial to a more vibrant, thriving economy for Maine? Are you a supporter of the local economies movement and willing to actively promote it? If so, we hope you will come to and register (via http://mainelocaleconomies.org) for this day-long gathering and encourage others to do so as well:

“Creating and Sustaining Vibrant Local Economies in Maine”
on March 22,  9 AM-4 PM, Randall Student Center, Augusta.
Attached is a flyer to post or to distribute (print off and give out and/or email to others) in your group or community. There is also a brochure with more information that is available at http://mainelocaleconomies.org. The brochure describes why this gathering is important, what we hope to accomplish, who else may be there, some of the reasons why local economies are so necessary, and a tentative schedule for the day.
