Film: “Living Downstream” to show in Blue Hill

BLUE HILL – Peninsula Peace & Justice will screen Living Downstream at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 28, at Blue Hill Public Library.

Based on the acclaimed book by ecologist and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber, this award-winning documentary follows Sandra during one pivotal year as she travels across North America, working to break the silence about cancer and its environmental links.
According to a review in The Washington Post, the film provides “an arresting portrait of a self-styled modern-day Rachel Carson.”
