You Wanted to Be a Farmer: A Discussion of Scale tells the story of farmer Dan Brown, of Blue Hill, who is being sued by the state for selling milk from his one cow to neighbors.  Why are farmers who operate on this scale required to meet licensing  standards designed for agribusiness?

Watch this video and participate in a discussion of the issues raised at the Halcyon Grange, Rte. 15 in North Blue Hill, on Tuesday, April 17, at 7 pm.  There will be refreshments.
This is a short film, but raises important questions.  If you have any interest at all about the issues surrounding local food, please come!
