Maine Grassroots Media Conference, September 9-10–Come and spread the word

Please pass along to others in your group or area. Thanks!

The Maine Grassroots Media Conference
September 9th and 10th at the Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts

The Maine Grassroots Media Conference will grow a network of people who use media on the grassroots level, from media makers and artists to educators and organizers. There will be opportunities for sharing across a wide spectrum of experience levels and interests, from veteran to aspiring media makers!

The event is FREE and open to the public. We need your support to make it possible. Please help us raise $1,000 through our KICKSTARTER campaign. Every little bit will help make this grassroots effort possible!

Click on our PROGRAM to see what sessions will be offered! From discussions on art and activism, to how to start a low power radio station, to interviewing techniques, to Freedom to Access of Information laws, to self-publishing, to silk screening, and beyond!

Go to our website for more information:, including how to get involved, register, become a sponsor, and learn all about presenters, sessions and evening performances.

Many thanks to the Beehive Design Collective for designing our poster and logo, and to the Maine Edge and the Unity College Center for Environmental Arts and Humanities for sponsoring the event.

Have a great August! We’ll see you in September!
