Reminder: Inequality for All

The 400 richest Americans now own more wealth than the bottom 150 million combined. Former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich sees this disparity as a threat to democracy. The film “Inequality for All” explains why. The Alliance for Democracy Downeast and Reversing Falls Sanctuary will be showing and discussing this film on Friday, February 21, at 7:00 pm, in the Howard Room of the Blue Hill Library.
There is no vilifying of the rich in this documentary. Instead, “Inequality for All” investigates how economic and policy changes over the past three decades have stacked the deck against the middle class. Discussion following the film showing will focus on recommended actions to return our society to one in which the American dream is possible for everyone. Refreshments will be available, and all are welcome.
