March Events
It might not feel like it but Spring is coming!
Until it does, we’ve got good movies and good food to help you pass the time. Please note that the men’s group events have changed to Thursday nights for the month of March.

Movie night
Who decides what is considered moral...violent...inappropriate?

March 11th at 6:00pm The men’s group will premier the documentary This Film is Not Yet Rated at the Downeast Diversity Center. Director Kirby Dick (OUTRAGE) sheds much-needed light on the inner workings of a secretive organization that wields great power over not only the movies the public gets to see but also the ones that get made. This Film Is Not Yet Rated focuses on the more controversial films of the past three decades including Requiem for a Dream, American Psycho and Boys Don't Cry. Dick hires a private investigator to determine who sits on the board, since this information isn’t in the public domain. With her assistance, he solves the mystery of the identity of these "guardians of morality." Doors open at 6 pm, movie starts at 7.
