[Local-Maine-Schools] op-ed on school consolidation

I always struggle between knowing how much numeric detail and
citations ought to be included, and how much raw emotion should be
included in my communications.  So here is another try at it.
Apparently, the timing is off for getting it into this week's
MDIslander.  My continuing correspondence with Mr benoit at the BDN
leads me to doubt it will get an audience there.  I have sent it to
the Penobscot Bay Press.  I would be happy, if anyone feels that it is
worthy to send on to anyone else, for them to do so.
