[Local-Maine-Schools] next steps...

First, thanks to all for keeping me informed after stumbling upon your
website a month or so ago!

 

I can't believe that even the revised plan passed.  I don't even think the
ink will be dry on the RPC before Brewer gobbles up the Orrington school
district.  I'm still stunned that the various teachers unions did not band
together to fight this.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on possible next steps, if any?  I'm originally
from Ohio, so I'm not a familiar with Maine process.  I've read a bit on
people's referendums and people's vetoes.  Do either hold any possibility in
this case?
