VISIT TO SUSAN COLLINS OFFICE TUESDAY ACTION –

March 28 @ 12pm (meet outside Susan Collins Office at the Federal Building on Harlow St in Bangor at 11:45am).

We will speak to staffers at Susan Collins’ office on one or two issues each Tuesday during the Trump Administration’s first 100 days, and for the foreseeable future.

Tomorrow, we will meet outside the Senator’s office at the Federal Building and discuss our message prior to going in to Senator Collin’s office. This is a great opportunity to be engaged in the political process at this critical time in our nation’s history!

We will ask the Senator to:

1. To oppose Judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court.
2. To oppose changing the rules in the Senate so that Gorsuch could be approved with a simple majority. Supreme Court Justices are appointed to a life-time term, and so it is imperative that they are appointed with bi-partisan support.
3. To support the legislation Senator Bernie Sanders has said he will introduce to provide a Single-Payer, Medicare-for-ALL type system. (And we will thank her for opposing the now-defeated AHCA)
