State Senate District 7 Race (Hancock County)

Ian Schwartz sent a message early yesterday (6:34 AM) which was held up by the HCCN list mechanism for moderation. I didn’t notice this until later in the day, and released it, but as always is the case with released messages, it appeared in inboxes as of the day/time sent, so people may have missed it, for which I apologize. Perhaps Ian can provide some concrete links to his assertion, since googling doesn’t always show what a person wants it to show, given that everyone gets different results from Google searches, thanks to Google’s knowing just about everything about you. In general, if you want people to find something, tell them to use the anonymizing interface StartPage: and provide search terms. StartPage looks like Google, passes your search terms on to Google, gets the results and gives them back to you, looking like Google, but without all of Google’s tracking information in the links provided. It offers the familiar advertised links, but these are based on what you looked for, not on what Google knows about you. And with most links it provides an extra link which enables you to go to the site anonymously.
