Stan Lofchie is making plans for Loukie’s memorial, and he asked me to share the details far and wide.

All are welcome to come to the Unitarian Universalist Church in Brunswick (1 Middle Street ~ across from the Curtis Library) on Saturday, August 12 from 3pm to 5pm.  We invite folks to participate in a potluck ~ bring a “finger food” to share with others.

We also invite you to spread this news.  Loukie has friends all over the state, and many in her age cohort are not on any list serves.  Please think about whom you know, and what calls you might make to her friends.

PeaceWorks will honor Loukie in an article that should appear in the Brunswick Times Record on Wednesday August 9.  And, of course, she will be remembered at the PeaceWorks Peace Fair on Saturday, August 5 on the Brunswick mall.

Stan has received many lovely cards and letters from so many wonderful friends.  He seems comforted by reading the sentiments that have come to him from so many who knew Loukie’s love.  If you haven’t sent a note and you want to, his address is:  20 Forest Terrace, Brunswick ME 04011

Thanks to each of you for holding on to the memories of the great spirit Loukie brought to our lives and to this planet.

Loukie Lofchie, Presente!
